European Sustainable Phosphorus Platform
ESPP, the European Sustainable Phosphorus Platform, promotes sustainable phosphorus management and nutrient recycling and in Europe. Our action particularly addresses the EU Critical raw Materials ‘Phosphate Rock’ and ‘Phosphorus’ (which means the specific form elemental P4 – white phosphorus) and the EU Green Deal and also UN Kunming Convention objective of reducing nutrient losses by -50%. ESPP is a not-for-profit association, funded by its 50+ members, who are a range of different industries (water and waste, fertilisers, chemicals, cement, recycling, services), knowledge institutes and public establishments. Our actions include stakeholder and inter-sectoral industry dialogue, networking, information dissemination (regular free eNews) and elaboration of joint proposals to policymakers.
European Raw Materials Alliance
The European Raw Materials Alliance (ERMA) aims to make Europe economically more resilient by diversifying its supply chains, creating jobs, attracting investments to the raw materials value chain, fostering innovation, training young talents and contributing to the best enabling framework for raw materials and the circular economy worldwide.
SAFE
SAFE’s Centre for Critical Minerals Strategy is dedicated to building secure, sustainable, and ethical supply chains for electric vehicle batteries in North America. To create these supply chains, both domestically and with its allies, the Centre advocates for (1) securing responsible supply chains for critical minerals and materials necessary for the transportation, energy, and technology innovations of the future, (2) establishing a new social compact for responsible mineral production and processing both at home and among allies, and (3) promoting a thriving critical minerals-based economy within the United States for transportation, energy, and technology industries reliant upon critical minerals, including establishing marketplace for ethically and sustainably sourced goods.
The International Fertilizer Association
The International Fertilizer Association (IFA) was founded in 1927 and is the only global fertiliser association, with 480+ members in some 80 countries and a mission to promote the efficient and responsible production, distribution and use of plant nutrients. This mission plays a critical role in helping to feed the world sustainably. IFA represents providers of plant nutrition solutions. Members include fertiliser producers, traders and distributors, as well as their associations, service providers to the industry, research organisations, agtech startups and non-governmental organisations.
