Norway’s mineral strategy

In June 2023, the government’s mineral strategy for onshore mineral activities was presented. The strategy aims to position the Norwegian mineral industry within sustainability, with particular emphasis on essential and strategic metals and minerals.

Enhanced collaboration

The Norwegian government has stressed the importance of enhancing collaboration among various governmental bodies to accelerate the project development, leading to quicker production.

This includes the Directorate of Mining (DMF), which has been designated as the primary authority and coordinator for projects involving Critical Raw Materials.

This move aligns with our objective to emerge as a prominent supplier of CRMs.
